Air bag light on after seat removal.

Had the seat out in order to dry out the car properly after the leak was found. Everything was put back in and reconnected today, all with the battery disconnected. Once the battery was reconnected and the car was started the stupid light was on, please tell me there is an easy fix to this!? I did everything as I always would when dealing with air bag connectors and have never had any trouble before, yet even now, with the battery disconnected I have a problem!

Thanks in advance for the help guys!

I had this too. Yes, there's an easy fix - get someone with coding software to switch it off for you! Mine's been on for a while, not got round to taking it off yet.

Did you have it in the same circumstances? I thought I had covered myself by disconnecting the battery! Apparently not! I have managed to convince myself that I have damaged cables or something, the start to my ownership has me in a pessimistic mood!

Yes, exactly the same. Disconneted the battery (which I'd done a few times before), then removed the seat to check out the seat heating, and when I put it back together the light was on. Nothng to worry about.
