AG SRP and HD wax

I went to do a full detail on the car yesterday, and found my super resin polish was very liquid like, still white in colour but very liquidy. Even though I shook it. Could this be down to the temperature? I'm in Norwich so it's not like the Antarctic here!?
Also I found that the HD wax was a pain to apply, not very smooth at all, again could this be because it was cold? Very unusual.

Cheers

The temperature will definitely be playing a factor, where do you keep your wax? Personally this time of year I bring all mine inside (then during "hot" summers I keep them in a cool fridge).

When did you buy your SRP, as I know they've changed the liquid almost watered it down (old was incredibly think and more cream like). Even though you shook it I would give it an extremely good shake. And again bring inside as polishes can be affected by temperature.

I've had that SRP for a couple of years nearly and was fine previously which was odd. All of it is stored in the garage, so the wax I can put it down to the cold (btw, both applicators that came with the wax I dropped as I was putting them away, can you buy those applicators again or shall I just use a foam applicator and keep it wet?)

Buy again, Not worth contaminating the wax or scratching the paint. http://www.slimsdetailing.co.uk/auto-finesse-wax-mate-xl.html

I don't see any benefit with having a damp applicator. The water will react with the wax. If the wax states a wet pad I would just lightly mist the pad using a quick detailer.

Store the wax inside the house or bedroom for a day so it returns to room temperature, hd wax tends to be a pita to apply at the best of times but having it store at a decent room temperature will aid during the application process. Also helps knowing which version you have v1 was a right pain to apply and remove! v2 was slightly improved but overall experience there are far better products, easier to use, better results for the same or less money
