Aftermarket arial base doesn't fit amp - help

Hi guys, appreciate this might not be much use without pics so i'll add some later.

i'm having issues connecting an aftermarket arial to what i believe is the amp

However, i bought this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-...rentrq:25697a8d16d0ad31c3e6125dfface7c3|iid:1

and on removing the old one i discover the screw that holds the amp in place goes right up to the arial base (and holds it on) to form the connection. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the new base connected to the amp as the fitting is different. I now have a nice looking base with a stubby arial not connected to anything and an amp thats floating about

Has anyone experience this and can share their solution?

Appears you have bought a non genuine aerial, which is why I'm guessing you are having issues. The angle looks more raked then OEM as well.

"THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT(OEM) AERIAL, It is a replacement for the genuine."

Can’t help with the aftermarket base but here are the details for the OEM part.

Here is the invoice with part numbers

Thanks. Where did you purchase this from.

Local main dealer. Those prices are without VAT.

I didn’t need to change the grommet as the original was ok.
