My current phone is an S3.... and im due an upgrade in a few months... can't wait for the S5!
after 6 years... iPhones are now redundant in my house!

Apple all the way for me. I tried Android (think it was Galaxy 4), and whilst a better phone interface I still think Apple has the best overall interface and integration between devices
I was once the guy who kept up with every smartphone (I'm a super geek, with probably one of the geekier jobs/lifes on this forum..), from the original PDA/XDA's to slidey keyboard windowsphones, to symbian, to nokias to android, and now.. to apple.
These days, i have a busy job, and lead a busy life, and i don't have the hours of faff time i used to spend customising my phone - i just want it to work and do everything everyone else does, and my iphone does that. I can give it to my mum, and she can make a phone call, but i can also do my fantasy football, betting, trade CFD's, monitor the cryptocoin market, chat on this forum, take loads of amazing photos, edit/upload/share them and pretty much do most of my life on the move because of it... No doubt id have a nice experience with android too .. except i'm a fan of quite a few apple products compared to their counterparts, and typically i tend to ignore cost when it comes to things i want. Like with the z4m - i wouldnt buy another car because i can't afford the one i actually want, i'd just get the one i want :evil:
Every time i get a new phone i do some simple analysis of it vs it's competitors, and i always go back to the iphone. Since the 3GS, they've been great. Before that - apple had lots of teething issues and were incredibly restrictive. These days i pretty much update my phone every ~10 months, actually currently waiting for the next generation iphone to see how apple does. I really think wihtout some significant features/changes apple could really fall behind this year. On the other hand - totally agree with tomscott - my friends sony is so rediculously big i take the piss every time i see it. It's just not practical - if you want that screen, buy a small tablet.
I also like that when i get a new phone, i can walk into the shop, enter username/password and i walk out with my exact phone, in the brand new shell
Either way - who cares, if you don't like the phone you have - change it.

Had a cheepo 9" tablet and the sceen cracked. I would buy another tablet for watching movies on Holiday. But IMO, completly different product from my phone.
The the phone needs to go in my pocket and be reliable/tuff. My old V9 fell off the car roof and was found in the street three days later. Got it back and worked perfectly for another 3 years.

I still have my 8210! That along with my 7260 which replaced it are up there along with my original iphone 4 as my all time favourite phone.

I'm an Apple fan and love the iPone 5S as it does my navigation much better than the crappy one which is installed by BMW, plays all my music, gives me hands-free comms in the car via Bluetooth, has all the Ordnance Survey 1:25000 maps of the UK installed for my rambling and interfaces seamlessly with my iMac / iPod / iPad through iCloud. Tried some of the best Android phones but they just haven't got the same range of functionality / integration I'm afraid.
