Aerodynamic front end without the side and rear?

I have a pre-facelift Z4 roadster and fancy the aerodynamic package front end but have some questions:
1. Is it possible to get just the front end alone?
2. Do the extended side skirts look good or not?
3. If I get the whole package for £750, how much does it cost to get painted and fitted?

Pictures from anyone who has done this would be appreciated :driving:
 
At least get the side-skirts as well or don't do it at all. Without the aero side skirts, the front lip makes the Z4 look like a snow plower.

And if you're going to spend the money to get the aero front bumper, might as well just get the ///M bumper. Simply the best looking bumper for the Z4.
 
Ive just had the front aero bumper done, doing side skirts soon too, just had to break it up due to cash flow. the front bumper costs £262 primed straight from the stealer. Expect to pay around £150ish to have it painted.. Must admit the whole aero package makes a HUGE difference to the look of the Z, definately worth going for. As GP20 says though, the M Bumper does look the nuts :D
 
I'd get an M bonnet too, as the lines will really go nicely with the aero kit!

Just spending some more money for you :P
 
The rear and sides look good, that said the front bumper reminds me of a snow plow as GP also states.

The rear and sides with the M bumper would be my choice.
 
Alex, thanks for that - do you have a picture of your car as is i.e. with front bumper fitted but standard side? :)

Also did you get the dealer to fit it and what was the all up cost to buy, paint and fit?
 
Im actually not a fan of the Aero kit on the Z4's, esp the front bumper :?

I had the full Aero Kit on my 2001 Mini Cooper and I thought it suited the car perfectly, it looked like it should have done from the factory. 8)

But the Z4 just doesn't IMHO. It do slightly prefer it on a black car but it still looks a bit snowplough-ish

Each to their own though :)
 
I stumbled upon this thread... I have the side skirts and the rear diffuser of the aero kit but I am still looking for the front bumper... Anyone know where I can find it? So far I found the whole package for less than 900 euro, for the xenon version. But I need the front non-xenon... preferably already black saphire :D

im planning on having just the front aero bumper. side skirts are pointless on a black zed anyway from what ive heard

M bumper for me too, this on its own would be a little odd I think.

I have them on my black Zed and must say they look great... They are wider than it seems on a picture

But I agree that the M-bumpers do look great... but then I would also have to change the rear bumper as I am putting quads on monday anyway. And then I would have to change the fog lights too... That's getting pretty expensive :(

Don't forget that in order to fit the rear M bumper you would have to do more, such as converting to facelift rear lights as well, which would mean a lot of trouble to get the lights working, etc. All possible and pretty funky, but also pretty expensive.

The combination of symmetric rear lights, quads and the areo diffuser also look great and are less M wannabee IMHO:
