So now I have found out that the diffuser piece is only clipped on to the rest of the bumper, has anyone fitted it to a facelift bumper?

Pic below to show which part I mean  C71D4068-6D11-4B50-A90C-E976168AD64E.jpeg

Anyone have this piece for sale?

. Maybe worth a mock up before you
 Good Stuff! :D

Now has anybody done it or anyone have any photos?
Brian, on a serious note for a second, if you look at the aero rear bumper, there is a line that curves from the top of the number plate recess to the bottom corners. Looking at the photo of yours, the lines are completely different.
The line of the add on bit at the bottom follows the same curve as that on the aero bumper. If you fit that part to yours it will not merge so well with the lines on your bumper (in my view anyway). Maybe worth a mock up to see if it works visually before you spend the money??

I’m loving the looks of the bottom photo
Niow that bottom photo would look much nicer on your car I reckon.

Agreed

What’s the chances of getting this part direct from the stealers? Anyone know any for sale?

We bought one from https://carbon-production.com/ Some years ago now, comes with template for the cut out. Reasonably priced too, Silvano also makes a perfect fitting as near an OE spec rear lip spoiler for the E86 coupe. Oh, a carbon dash and centre console, and interior door handles found their way onto the car too... Quick turnaround, a versatile and very useful contact producing top quality goods not only for BMW

These guys also sell and it comes recommended https://burkhart-engineering.com/shop/bmw/bmw-ag/bmw-z3-z4-z8/kohlefaser-diffusor-passend-fuer-e85-e86-z4-bmw/

Had it bookmarked for a while when I had an si

I’ve been watching for an oem diffuser for 2 years. Pretty much given up and planned to go down the after market route. Although I’ve got an M rear, Aero rear also on standby. I really like the aero diffuser.

Good to know :) How much was it from Carbon.Production? I don't have an si anymore but I definitely would have got one eventually when funds allow. I think they look great and really complete the back end.
