Im looking to purchase the aero front bumper for my 2003 zed will the fog lights and lower grill from my original bumper fit the new aero bumper, cheers!
yes im keeping it, the work situation changed dramatically for the best, so im really going to invest the zed thats if the mrs doesnt plan to many holidays. Anyway back to this aero bumper does it require a new lower grill?
The one I bought on line came with the lower grill inserts and the old fog lights fit right in. It was also VERY easy to remove the old bumper and replace it with the aero. Just follow the directions in the How-To section.
Here is photo of my Aero bumper from BMW, when at the Homecoming, I selected the fit and finish as my freebie at the Tech-Day, It was cool to receive compliments from the BMW Body shop production techs,They loved the Aero Bumper and my paint match , they went around my car and adjusted the rear trunk deck for better alignment, after lifting my front hood, noticed I was missing the 2 rubber isolators that help stop hood vibration, I was also missing a rubber bumper in the trunk, they went to the production floor to get the parts and installed them----Thanks BMW for the Customer service , now if we could get the stealers to provide stellar service
I am thinking of taking the silver grills out and replacing with Black, sorry not trying too hijack thread, but since we are on the subkect of Aero, what do you think?
My grills have the "chrome" surrounds. I bought the bavauto black plastic overlays that don't chip. An adhesive similar to windshield adhesive is used to hold them on to the grill surrounds.
