Aerial /Straight swap stubby for whip. SWAP COMPLETE

I wondered if anyone would be interested in a swap ?

Bought late last year from BMW cost £20. Receipt in the box.

Swap for Genuine Whip with UK member (to keep post cost low and time short)

Genuine BMW Sport Aerial Rod (Stubby) part No 65 20 2 296761 (made in Germany)
As New Still in box.
(Perfect fit and reception).

Bought for my car, (garage king ) which is under a dust cover in the garage and I have to take the whip off to put the cover on.
IMHO (being old and wrinkly) I prefer the look of the whip on the roadster.

Will swap for Genuine as New BMW Whip.
I will post to you in the UK you can swap aerials over and post me the whip back.

I Do Not want a cheap £2.50 eBay Chinese copy in return.
Must be Genuine BMW whip in as new condition.

(Please check yours will come off without damage before agreeing swap I know some need hack sawing off :D )

If NathanZ4C doesn't swap, I have one in good condition going spare. Recently had to fit a new aerial amplifier and the whip/base came part of the deal.
Would fit your stubby on our Series 1.

Personally I do like the looks of the stubby on a coupe, but I agree the whip looks better on a Roadster. :thumbsup:
 
I've got both depends on the mood at the time, roof up mainly whip, roof down stubby as it looks sleeker just my way of thinking :D

I had one of them on my old car. I was verrrry long when extended though. Made the car look like a remote controlled car :rofl:

Followed an mr2 tonight 04 reg. The chrome retractable aerial must was soooo high :cry:
, looked daft but I bet he got a great radio signal was probably in contact with the space station. :D
 
Well funny you should say that... From experience ;) the signal on those is far better than the Z

I've literately just put my old whip in the bin. Genuine from an 07 coupe. I'll go fish it out if someone wants it. Couple of pounds for postage and you can have it.
