Advice please - washing windscreen with roof down?

After a month of zed ownership we are still loving it and reckon 80% of our drives in it have been roof down. As yesterday afternoon looked nice we headed off for another little Saturday drive . The windscreen was clean when we started but during the drive it gets dirty, spots, flies etc, which as the sun got lower and we were heading west started to get a bit annoying. But how do you clean it without putting the roof back up?

BTW is West Sussex Z3 country, saw about half a dozen but not Z4

Side windows up, lots of small squirts at 40+ mph and the washer fluid won't come in the cabin. It won't at a stand still if you do lots of teeny squirts anyway.

Thank you, weather looking nice again today so will have a go with this :)

I thought this question was a pi$$ take, it seems you were serious! wtf

Err no! After near drowning myself cleaning my mini windscreen with just the side windows down, wasn't going to risk overshoot with no roof! Ptaking would be tips on how to take it through a car wash without the roof up (btw I do know that zeds don't do car washes, only hand washing with fluffy bunny tails and dried with swan feathers!!)
