Hi.
I went into my local dealer today looking at changing my z4 3.0si reg 57, with 47,000 miles.
I was offered £8,300 for it... This seems pretty low!!!

It was against the following car..

Z4 sDrive 2.0i Msport ex demo. Registered in March, 700 miles
http://www.westerlybridgwaterbmw.co.uk/approved-used-bmw/bmw-z-range/bmw-z4-roadster.html

Up for £23,995 so over 2 years on 12,000 miles £250/month

Thoughts on this?!

Have dealt with Westerly in general thery seem ok to me its a question of what your happy with and being realistic about the price they are offering :|

Having said that the above price for yours seems a little light would be hopeing for another 1k if its in top nick :|

Mine has electric seats heated seats Bluetooth, parking sensors.
Wheels are a little kurbed but that's it! Top condition otherwise

I deal with Westerly Barnstaple and find they are generally ok, until something goes wrong that isn't a clear warranty job (i.e. they might have to pay!).

Is the dealer principle across the whole group, or just one branch? If he's across the whole group, then the Westerly one, whilst polite, is rubbish (in my opinion).

...ps: if they offer you a March 2012 Alpine White 20i MSport with 2600+ miles on the clock, PM me, cos it could be my leaky one!!!!!

so is that 250x24 + your 8300= 14300?
if so whats the optional final payment?

The deposit is based on £6800 as I have £1500 outstanding on mine, final balloon payment is £14,000

There is a white one there, but it was only slightly cheaper than the 13 plate one

Parkers suggest 9.2K and dealers will put it up for 11.7K. the new one is priced between 24-26K.

It depends on how you feel with the deal and the price of the new car in the first place.

If it was up at 25K then I think you could wiggle your px up to the 9.2. But the new car is on the lower end to start with. Looking at the bmw used web site they are holding up a bit more than the 11.7K so you may be able to push this a bit.
