Having prevaricated long enough, and having failed to locate a Sepang M, I have been attracted to a 3.0si coupe. Now beyond the driving experience which I know will be slightly lower performance, which doesn't worry me too much because I'll never be doing track days etc, but will do a lot of town driving and motorway cruising, what else should I be concerned about.

(2) is cruise control easy to retro-fit on Si's?
(3) is a wooden dashboard a real turn off? Actually i don't mind it - but that shows my age! It seems the Z4 community dislike any wood in the cabin!
(4) is electronic steering really so much difference from the M's...
(5) at £10,000 cheaper than the M's seems good value ? - approx £9,000 I suspect once negotiated with changes above....
(6) are regular seats much less comfortable than the sports seats
