Hi Gary I used a 3" filling knife to help take mine off plus a flat screwdriver.
Slot the filling knife or what ever you will use into the top of the rear hoop and gently push and prise it off just be careful
and take your time with the rear hoop as the clips that hold it on break easy,
Once you have the rear hoop off then you can use a flat screw driver to push the clips out on the front hoop and it will come of easy
without breaking any of the clips.
You will also need to remove the seat belt holder that sits next to the hoop as it will make it easier to remove them as well
