Here are the stats:

2007 Z4M Coupe
Color:Titanium Silver Metallic
Int. Color:Black
Mileage:15,305
VIN:5UMDU93417LM08083

List: $39,995
Sales Price: $36,900

Trade offer on my 2007 3.0si: $21,000 going by Black Book (seems disgustingly low!) 11,000 miles, clean as a whistle

Is it priced right? Am I getting raped on my trade?

Here's the car in question. Lease turn in. Replaced two rear tires. A couple of minor scratches on right front wheel which the say will be fixed.

of course you are going to get "hosed" on the trade in. that's what dealers have to do to make money :x

i'm sure you can find a little more wiggle room. after all, it doesn't matter how much the price of the cars are, the only thing that matters is the difference between the two cars.

i mean, if they say they will give you $35k for yours, and want $50k for theirs, it's still a $15k difference.

good luck!

I would guess that a 3.0si should go at around $29k on the dealer block. Offer them 31K and see if they are willing to part with it.

Why do other BMW in US have no amber reflectors on bumpers, but only Z4 roadster/coupe have? Any particular reasons? Car looks nice though.

Try and sell your car privately if you can. I've done that with my last two cars and made thousands over what the trade-in offering would have been. Have a look at buying privately too. Again, the opportunity to save thousands is there.

The reflectors are mandatory on all cars. The others have reflectors integrated into the headlamp or rear lamp fixtures that wrap arouund the sides. (note the X5 in the picture)
