Advice needed - soft top damage

Having previously owned a coupe, I've just got back into Z4 ownership having bought a roadster from another forum member. After months of searching for the right car, I was just about finished with the list of jobs to get the car looking right (OCD going mad!!!!).... Wheel refurb, professional polish, hood cleaning and treatment etc. Feeling pleased with the results, I've started using the car whenever 2 seats are enough which included picking up only one of my daughters from a sports club one evening this week. Whilst inside the sports centre for about 15 mins, someone has decided to extinguish their cigarette on the roof of the car! After spending the first 24hrs in a state of rage, I'm now beginning to move through the grief cycle. So to the point of this posting, has anyone got any advice if this mindless damage can be repaired? Luckily, the hard man responsible for this didn't burn through the hood completely and has left a 'melted' 5p sized mark rather than a hole. I'm starting to resort to a replacement hood so any advice on this also would be much appreciated

Yes I'm in the UK. I did see that on eBay and will probably be the solution if I'm not able to get a suitable repair done.
Thanks for you post.

Dont know where you are but when I was driving to Eastbourne the other week I noticed a soft top manufacturer. Cannot remember the name but it might be worth 'googling' in case you have someone near you as they are likely to be able to help.

Thanks Mike. I've got an appointment with a recommended trim guy in the North East to give me an idea if the damage can be repaired. If not, I've sourced a replacement roof for £450.
