Advice needed quick, changing spring.

Checked my receipt yesterday Steve and I actually paid £82 for the pair,so you did indeed get a good deal.
The oem springs have been changed twice on mine hence the third time Suplex was chosen. :thumbsup:
 
Have to agree with the others who have said just buy a pair.

A set of Eibachs for all 4 corners is abour £100, and the fronts aren't hard to do either.

You're making this SO much harder than it needs to be.
 
UPDATE, to help others: I've managed to buy a used genuine spring from Ebay. It only cost £5. I'm happy with that.
I couldn't find a part number on realOEM but the dealer has confirmed the part number of blue paint springs as 33 53 6 761 925. This spring is for E85 and E86 car with "Sport Suspension".

I'm one of those that's guilty of wanting everything done in pairs.

But tbh, I think you've done well there. Let's all face it a spring is a spring, and your car is back up and running. Doubt many would notice any driving difference be it new or second hand. Good for you.
 
Springs aren't made in pairs and they don't break in pairs although they can be sold in pairs. I' fitting a used spring to match my "used" spring.

I'm also keeping a lookout for another blue spring on ebay, people don't realise these springs are tuned (tapered) to match the runflat tyre technology, because of their design they are susceptible to failure. This is my opinion.

I always do pairs
Tyres pass discs etc
As per spring I totally hear your view point
But I'd replace both out of due course whilst at garage just makes financial sense as whilst it's up on ramp etc :)
