Advantages of purchasing a Certified Vehicle

When I purchase preowned cars the dealership always ask if I want the car to be cetified if it is not already been certified.

I'm not even sure what a car certification involves now that I think about it. Can any of you tell me?

All my bms were purchased as Certified (unless new). It means that if the clock quits they replace it, no questions asked, if anything is a bit wonky, they fix it. The arguments stop right after I say " It's a Certified Used car". They cost a bit of a premium but are in better nick than the non-certified ones.( and the warranty helps too :D )
