Hi
I need to adjust the window following regulator replacement as there is wind noise around the top and back edge. I have found that there are two adjusting screws, one bottom and on in the rear edge of the door. Can anyone give me a heads up on which one tilts the window back? Do I do this with the window up or down and any tips appreciated.

As the weather looks great today I thought I would have a go if anyone has the time to post any tips it would be appreciated
thanks

The forward most plug under the door gives access to the window's in-out adjustment. To adjust anything else you will need to remove the door handle for access to the window glass clamp. If you like PM me your email and I can send you the TIS pages and other resources in PDF for the entire procedure. I was having a wind noise problem and according to SI 51 01 04 (074) I added a special plastic stop to the window clamp.

My window rattles as Im driving over windows and I think It has been replaced previously due to it being smashed. Could BMW adjust it for me?

I think a bit of window rattle is normal - my Zed has it when the windows are down.

My passenger window rattles like this too - when it's up not down! Is it possible to adjust the window to tilt back towards the cabin slightly so that it creates a tighter seal on the rubber seals of the roof?

I know this is an old topic, but some problems (eg. windows adjustments) are coming out every now and then..
So some of you might be interested in BMW manual:

Sorry to bring up old post, but does anyone have a working link to the one posted just above?

For me, there is a visible gap right between the glass the seal at the edge of the door so that it creates a whistling noise when getting up to higher speeds.
