adjusting the handbrake

Not sure the cables are adjustable, maybe varies on the model. My 55 2.0 wasn't

Self adjusting - if it's not doing it then there's a problem

Without getting my TIS manual out to double check I don't think this is right for any of the models.

The rear handbrake shoes inside the rear discs need manually adjusting through one of the bolt holes. Once they are adjusted correctlly then the ratchet will adjust up slack in the cable.
