Adding to the alarm going off

I had to disconnect the battery overnight to save upsetting the neighbourhood due to the 56 plate Z4 alarm going off very frequently
The sensor at the bulkhead was such an easy repair with the genuine BMW part off eBay for £25
Why do some sellers of cars never mention these quirks or just say it worked perfect last week. Aye right !!!

Have you checked the oil/air filter to see if they've been changed recently, or did you take the seller's word for that too

Anyway, it's hard to warn you of something that has not yet failed, because it will work perfectly...right up to the moment it doesn't.

So how would an honest seller know something was going to fail a week after you bought it?

It's a very common occurrence, and something any buyer should have checked (or disconnected).
