Adding heated seats to a Z4M Roadster?

Hello all,
I have a 2006 Z4m roadster. It came with power-seats (M of course), but no seat heaters.
What is neccesary to add heated seats? I know the oem console switches need to be added; but do the seats already have the heating element in them? Wiring already in place?

I've researched a bit with no clear answer.

You would need yo obtain the switches, wiring and sear heater mats.

You would also either have to modify the seat cushions or buy new ones.
 
You wouldn't need new cushions, the mat is stitched into the leather. I cut a complete set out of a set of standard Z4 seats.
