Hi everyone

Is there a known good system to add an aftermarket bluetooth to my car?

It's got the satnav and the carver hifi with dsp amp etc.

I've previously fitted my parrot ck3100 into loads of different cars using special harnesses and muting boxes etc, but it's getti g a bit old now.

What's the best modern solution? I need something robust and easy, as I'll be using it a lot for work.

Thanks

I take it you have an auxillary in?

That will be your best bet as all the aftermarket units will use their built in amplifier and the carver system relies on a digital signal which these units dont put out.

Your best bet is to wire an 3.5mm male jack to the parrot kit and switch the input when you need to use the kit.

It's not a perfect solution, but it's cheaper than going down the OEM retrofit route.

edit; saw you have the gatway 100 so you could upgrade that to a gateway 500 with bluetooth or another bluetooth enabled system by them
