ad edited - revised spec and now on ebay

nice car, good luck with the sale.

by the way if you decide to sell any of your parts, I am interested in your rubber mats :P

If you do split any of it I'd be interested in the quad clear rear lights :-)

Good luck with the sale

If you want to sell the wheels and ill px my 17's with you that would be good ?

i doubt having different wheels will affect your resale, 6500 is dirt cheap.

hi adz, yes only just up for sale this week.

koolchris - thanks but im not looking to swap/sell any bits from the car.

This is looking cheap and surely has to sell at this price, I mean this is the alternative for this sort of money :(

Something three years younger and 2/3 (or 60k miles) less?

I know what you're trying to say, but I reckon that's the problem. People want small, cheap to run cars that are cheap on tax and insurance. :headbang:

I assure you I do get it. The point is that the Zed and other "buy with your heart" motors are genuinely undervalued at the moment, "buy with your head" stuff like the 5 year old base spec 3 door polo for £6k are seriously overvalued, the time is right to buy a Zed if your circumstances allow.
For me the insurance differential between the two is about £130, Im not sure on the tax but guess 2.5 is about £100 a year more and fuel? depends on your mileage but my 2.5 has done 34mpg so far, a polo 1.4 probably 48mpg. Servicing and repairs may not be as different as you think, my mate just has had his 7 yr old polo's central locking done which cost him ummmmm.......... £1k at a VW dealership, I just had a EGR valve on my Ford at £400 so it's not that different in some cases.

Mate I totally agree with you.

My last 3 daily drivers have been Modded 225 TT, The Z4M and now a Charged Vx220.

I bought new once, would never do it again and wish someone had talked some sense in to me at the time.

Part of the reason I still have the Z4M is because to me it's worth more than people are willing to pay even at it's price point.

Even at 18.8mpg on the last tank only saves me £100 a month over running a 2.0l diesel.
