There's an up hill section of dual lane a few hundred yards from my front door. The number a micras and 2.0 tdis that must past me pulling out up that hill and thought the same. There are not many Z4s down here in NZ and Christchurch, but there is a guy I see each morning in a grey E86. I waved to him everyday and finally now he waves back
.Every day and hour spent behind the wheel of a Zed makes me smile a whole lot. Had a super-sunny early winters day this AM in CHCH and I was like a kid waiting for Christmas before I headed off to work knowing I got to drive my Zed today!
What more do you need to make you smile and wave!

Carma is a wonderful thing for sure. Back when I was a teenager and poor I would walk about 5 miles to my local disco to save on bus fares and try to hitch a lift (which rarely happened) One day a bus driver was laughing so much as he drove by me he failed to notice a lorry was waiting to turn right and drove into the back of him. It was a surreal moment as moments later I walked past him and saw his face change from laughter to his head in his hands.IRD said:Happened to me last week in the same circumstances. I can't say I had a lot of sympathy when I saw he had been pulled over by an officer of the law with a speed gun in the next village to ours. I used to drive a Beetle when i was younger - the classic VW drivers love a wave! Did used to like the 'community' spirit of VW
But then i used to spot an old VW from miles off. I'm usually a bit late noticing Zs so forget to wave!
