Accident - Advice Please.

What Simon said earlier, claim from her insurers, not your's!

By claiming directly through the other driver's insurance before I've always found that accidents are settled much more quickly (at a BMW repairer in my case) and there's no risk to your own NCB. I wouldn't involve my own insurers unless as a last resort!

Good luck!

Bit of an update. Car went to Scotthall BMW at Borehamwood 2 weeks ago. They've just returned it back to me for the 2nd time and I've just told them to take it back again.
First time they returned it I was not happy at all with the colour match. Had the new bumper fitted and I paid to have the skirt under the drivers door done at the same time. Appears slightly better and the difference may be due to plastic skirt/ metal door appearing slightly different?
Not happy to find a 25mm x 50mm blemish on the bumper beneath the Z4 boot emblem. It looks the same as you'd get when you remove a sticker from something and it leaves the glue residue. Unbelievable that they've sent it back like that.
Anyway it's now gone back to them for a 3rd attempt. Fortunately I couldn't use the car at the mo anyway as I'm recovering from an op to my right elbow but that's beside the point.

BMW are incompetent at everything.. Because of reasons such as this Jim that I have also experienced on numerous occasions I refuse to even entertain them unless it's for any warranty work, which again they do nothing but F*ck up!!! :headbang:

Hope you manage to get it sorted soon without much more Agro mate.

Personally, if I could avoid a full claim through the insurers I would do unless you want to go the 'whiplash route' and get some compo which will at least offset any insurance increase.

Yeah, it's a great idea to encourage that, because of course it's not going to result in the rest of us paying in the long run for it :headbang:
