Accessing rear strut mounts

Hi all

Started fitting new shocks and suspension bushes today but can't work out how to get at the rear top mounts to access the shock top nut and also replace the mount bushes. Looks like I need to take the roof off?!?

Any guidance much appreciated.

Through the boot, but a PITA job by all accounts.

The carpet needs removing ... Along with any holding lugs , rear light covers and loading tray, then the insulating foam needs carefully removing. Oh also, I'm pretty sure the rear parcel shelf also - and that is a total pain in the arse.
