Access To Aerial

Still trying to solve my terrible radio reception, now found that by removing the whip the signal is the same, got to be the connection.

:scratchhead: The next challenge is to check the connection at the aerial but can't seem to find a way to look at it. Anyone have any idea how to get to the underside of the aerial on the rear wing ?

Leaving checking the head unit end till last.
 
Is this for am fm dab etc? They're all in the rear bumper mainly as the whip aerial is to enhance reception only.
 
Wasn't aware of that, I don't have DAB, my reception is rubbish in all but the strongest areas and the RDS appears to seek, but finds nothing. How can one access the bumper aerial ?
 
Oh well, found the booster in the rear view mirror and appears to be working, couldn't get to the bumper aerial, given up and booked in to the dealer.
