AC Leak - Repair Reccomendations

So it seems my AC has a leak somewhere.

I had it regassed, the whole system worked amazingly. 1 week later nothing.

Any recommendations for a Indy or a repair centre in Surrey?

If I find out where the leak is, can I just replace the parts myself?

Sorry I can't help with where, but in answer to your question, yes you can.

Hopefully this'll help:

Take the car to kiwk fit (stay with me), they used to have a "no refil, no charge" system.

Basically, they'll vac and then pressure test the system. They'll find a leak, then run a dye through to detect it.

Then offer you a HUGELY overpriced repair and you say "no thanks, can't afford it".

Then, due to the system being empty, you can work on it yourself. Find a breaker, and get the part you need for a few bob, fit it, and head back to kwik fit.

Sorted.

Hope that helps.

Great stuff.

Are the seals in the compressor serviceable? I'm hoping it's just some O-rings somewhere..
