Did a search and couldn't find any related posts. Just thought I'd mention there is some great cashback available on AA, RAC and Greenflag on Quidco.
In case you haven't heard of it, Quidco is an affiliate website that allows you to get cashback on online purchases. The AA's cheapest cover is £28, and Quidco gives £21 cashback making a years policy only £7. You can get more comprehensive policys and get greater cashback:

Today I got £50 cashback on a joint 2 person policy with Roadstart, Relay and Home-Start which was already a "Winter Offer".
