OK Guys I'm now getting a couple of fault codes up 1 is A696 Hal sensor that one is well explained on the forum so i wont ask about that one , but the other is A670 Fogging Sensor does anyone know what exactly this one is referring to had a quick search and read a couple of posts but it still not completely clear
Anyone konw what exactly needs to be repaired or replaced to fix this code
Thanks

It’s a sensor in the windscreen centre plastic structure that holds the centre mirror…usually needs replacing..any previously replaced windscreen?

it currentl;y reads 2200% sure 100% would be very wet so 2200 must be drowned. I think it might be fubared are the cheap ebays ones any good or should i get a stealer priced one to make sure?
And how hard are they to fit?

There is a youtube video showing how to change one. It is on a 3 series, but presumably they are the same.
If you watch the video, the readings don't make a lot of sense (even the new one).

With sensors best to get the pukka BMW one, unless, you know for sure, the OE maker..eg Pierburg, Bosch etc..

Tip the part number into Autodoc to give you ideas..

EBay fraud copies are rife..
