A question for Smarttop users

When I got my car it was configured to "drop" the left wing mirror when Reverse is selected
I don't find this useful so I disabled it in Smarttop
However this doesn't seem to have worked as the mirror still drops

Is this because it is a "coded" feature and coding takes precedence over Smarttop?

Thought that is dependant on the mirror adjust selector switch. Ie. If it it select to right it will dip the left mirror. If set to left it won’t dip.

Just to prevent accidental adjustment of the mirrors? Most other makes seem to have a central position as well as L-R
