A question about meets in general?

Hi Guys

More of a random thought, I pose the question. It seems like in the north and midlands there is always great turn outs and regular meets, yet we seem to struggle down south to get the numbers? (I might add not just this forum, general note I have made over the years)

I look at the Meets thread and its dominated by meets elsewhere and my wet lettuce attempt a few months back to enquire about one has produced a :tumbleweed: thread just wondering we others thoughts were.

Or is it quite simply! That am secretly cut out of the circle of trust, when you have rev your car in a certain way to enter! :evil: … aka Masons!! But for cars

Just wondering why.... also am waiting for a client to arrive and I have nothing else to do but "graze the field of the Z4 forum!"

Just a thought not offence intend bla bla usual document disclosure stuff!! :lol:

Last London meet got 25 Z's in one place :thumbsup:

Guess there is more to do in London etc...the north, well once your pigeons have been in and out a few times and you've watched Emmerdale....what else is there? :D

The downsides with the SE is that the roads are quite boring, or congested compared to the north

PS that was 25 Z's in a traffic jam 8)
 
It's just people in the North are more sociable :P .
That and the roads and the scenery knock the spots off anything the south can offer.
Having lived in both areas I know where I'd rather be and it is not in the overrated overcrowded south :poke: .
 
We skip across the water into real driving roads without the risk of penalty points :poke:
 
IIRC We only had 8 or 9 zeds at the final Scottish meet of the year. Don't know if that makes you feel any better? :)

As a southerner I reckon this is sadly true, would be more than up for a move if a job came up
 
Having organised dozens over the years since 2004, I am organised out to be honest. I generally do the further away ones though.
