About time JE.
Good on you though and whilst you probably panicked the entire way there that either it would be driven into, dust may collect on the body work along with insects and goodness knows what else you still did it and the world didn't end.
Crikey you even went on the beach which risks all sorts of merry hell if sand were to enter the footwell.
Did the roof come down at all?
Perhaps this was enough of a step this time. Perhaps next trip could be 53 miles and the top down....
Car looks great though and the roof really pops in the bright sunlight!
Here's to (I would say many but lets not get carried away) some more!

It's decent start Jonny and I'm pleased you've reacted to comments - but as others have said - why is the roof not down ? red roofs look particularly good when they're down ( speaking with some experience on the matter).
Well done on finding such a place though.
Just for reference though - many of us typically drive much more than 50 miles just to the meet start point - fish 'n chip runs can be a 200 mile round trip ! Some of your fellow zed drivers down your way drive hundreds of miles to a meet, so you might want to consider upping the antie a little bit but
Did you ever bed in those brakes properly ? I had to do some 20 or so quite vigorous stops from decent speeds to bed in the Ferrodo DS2500s ( not the D2 stock/street pads) but it was well worth it.

My car hit 37,000 last Saturday.
I had a wee drive too while out visiting a few offices for work today. No pictures as I had a few miles to drive and didn't have time.
Greenock to Aberdeen to Ellon to Elgin to Forres to Inverness to Greenock. Refuelled in Keith with a quick break in Inverness and Stirling services.
Some really incredible pieces of tarmac up there and it's no surprise there are so many deaths on the roads in Aberdeenshire due to drivers running out of talent or making mistakes on, "allegedly" really fast roads. :?
Left the house at 6am and got home at around 7pm. 470 miles without a lunch break.
You should see the dead bug remains on the front of the car as it would keep you awake for a week with worry! Windscreen will need cleaned before I go to work tomorrow as it's really bad with dead bug splatter too.
Alloys are totally filthy with brake dust!
Water marks in all the usual places where the rainwater has dried as it's been running off the car at speed.
Car was excellent. Incredible to drive really all the way there and back.
On the A9 from Inverness to Perth with the roof down all the way.
It'll probably hit 38,000 within the next week or two!

Wasn't much rain at all to be honest although there was some light patches here and there and damp roads drying out quickly.
It was certainly raining in Elgin for 10 minutes.
