Just a heads up. if you go on the snake pass take the road that goes past The Strinnes Inn heading to the Stocksbridge Bypass. Its a fantastic smooth road, fresh tarmac and quiet - Mortimer Road
Had a few good run outs up to the Strines, brilliant roads round there, just the last straight Road leading to the pub where the surface is terrible need to do it again if the rain ever stops
Done that road a few times overt years , nice cut thro from woodhead t snake rd, have they resurfaced it then,?. always bin a bit bumpy in parts, but a few nice twists n turns an gets abit interesting when there's wet leaves an mud ont road.
