They'd have had to replace the headlights aswell then :wink: You should know your Z's better than that :P

Hunter- The grill on the 3.0 is usualy grey, the other models, including the M have black grills which often people prefer. I changed to black grills on my Black 3.0, which I think fits much better.

Those wheels really don't look good the Z4, looks like you've got some replacements lined up already though :thumbsup:

Looks like we've found the bouncer for the next Z4 gathering :lol:

Since i got the car its done nothing but rain...now im stuck on an oil rig and the sun is blinding!!!! typical!!!!
Lucy...i think you would win...im all beer and pies!!! Drove up from Notts to Aberdeen in it yesterday and saw a Z infront of me near Edinburgh, screemed up next to it and gave the driver and his missus a big thumbs up and then i was off. They just looked at me like i was nuts!!! lol Car was great the whole journey and at Motorway speeds i averaged 40mpg ----im used to between 15 and 27!!!!!
 
40mpg from a 3 litre? How slow were you going? I get about 35mpg if I'm lucky, going 70 on the motorway. :(
 
Averaged, 65 on the computer thingy. Was actually 39.8 mpg from notts to aberdeen. Thats not bad. 80mph and 50s ect.

Fuel economy is a big plus point with these engines :thumbsup:
 
Nice car. Looks well specced up generally, but then weird that it has only 17's... every SMG I've seen have had 18's.

No bad thing of course, just interesting :)

Titanium silver is the best colour btw ;)
 
Not seeing a downside atall with the car, its all good up to now. just thought of a small niggle....reception on the standard aerial is a bit naff. Time for a change me thinks, but its got to be compatable with the tv in the car. Any suggestions?
 
LOL, the anodised paddles on the steering wheel not give it away. Just been lookin on the net for a few mods. Saw some Carbon Fibre kidney grills...what do you think?

Im not sure about them, not quite dark enough. I just wondered if any one had seen them on a car for real. Things look different in pictures.
 
True, but fake CF can look naff, and real CF is probably too expensive to put in a part of the car that you can just pull off, like the grilles
