Recently got back from a trackday with Circuit Days at Spa Francorchamps, got some nice photos of the day! Car performed admirably, only problem was temperamental traction control and a lack of power on the straights.

only track modifications were Federal 595 RS-R tyres, and PF08 brake pads. also removed the front fogs for increased front brake cooling.

Cool ! A proper race circuit  When you say you removed the front foglights for brake cooling did you also remove the lower inspection panel in the wheel arch and/or did you use ducting to the rear of the brake discs ?

yep, removed the lower inspection panel in the wheel arch as well. So its not targeted air flow so to speak, but any air flow into the wheel well has got to be better than none at all, right?! certainly after 5-6 laps the brakes were still relatively cool, so I think it was helping.

and yeah, the sheer scale of spa is just vast... done nearly all the tracks in the UK, and nothing even comes close!

Great action shots. 8)

How was the top of o-rouge in the rain. I got the Zed sideways through there, in the dry. Kept me nicely awake that did. :D

Thanks Brillomaster  I'm contemplating removing my fogs and fitting some ducting round to the back of the discs. I recently got my brakes cooking on a blast in the Y.Dales and had massive brake fade coming down the Buttertubs Pass of all places  I've since fitted Brembo discs/pads and change the fluid which has improved things massively but some extra cooling definitely won't hurt.
Done a few track days myself over the years mainly at Oulton Park as it's only an hour from me. Would love to drive Spa...it's on my bucket list :driving:

I was at Spa two days after you. The weather was much better so ran out of power long before I ran out of grip.
A very entertaining track !
