A couple of pics from todays hooning

Had some spare time this aft, so what better way to spend it than hooning in the Zed with the roof down, in the sunshine.

Thought id take some pics as well since our local scenery isnt too shabby.

Been debating getting black grills, so come on people, should I do it or not. The only thing putting me off is it would make the car look aggressive from the front with it being black, but then its only got 18" wheels and cant justify the price for 19"s at the moment, so dont want to make it look daft. hmm, help me guys! It was my birthday on Monday 24th and ive been given some money by most people to treat myself to something for the zed and its burning a hole in my pocket.

Anyway, for now, enjoy...

Cheers lux, never thought of it like that and thats a good point. Might see if someone would be kind enough to do a photo chop for me, and hopefuly that will persuade me, haha.

Your car looks awsome with those, think you might just have convinced me. Also was thinking of upgrading to FL side indicators but could have those done in gloss black too, which would give it a nice clean look.
 
I think on a black car, it looks better to keep the grills you have so it picks the grills out. Otherwise they would just blend in, unless that's what you want?
 
i think the black grills look nice but only on a car that isnt black....i have a black car but will keep the grills with the chrome.....they look strange on black
 
Black grills on black is quite aggressive. :evil:
The 35is silver grills look great on black, I think Ray is selling some!!
 
my e85 is black on black on black but i was going for the aggressive look, i just plastidipped mine which is a good non permanent option...

I prefer standard grills tbh but if you can get hold of the 35iS ones they look the business to my eyes, but when all said & done its just personal preference.
 
Buy the Performance grills. They are looking perfect on the Z (I have them on my space grey 35i as well)! A friend of mine has the black PP grills on his black 35i - very agressive and much better than the standard ones.

The LCI side indicators in black are also a very good idea on a black Z. But it is not so easy to paint them black - if you want a perfect quality, you must get rid of the chrome on the plastic parts.
