A blessed relief

Isn't it great to have somewhere to escape this godforsaken election stuff?

One more day to go so lets keep it that way. No responses required

It's probably a good thing Wimbledon is on otherwise it would have been impossible to avoid election analysis on the BBC.

Good win for Emma Raducanu earlier. :D

I know it's unthinkable for a lot of people these days, but you could just turn the tv off and get out somewhere.

TBF I wouldn't have had the TV on if the tennis wasn't on.

Tesco delivery has just arrived :)

Tim.
I laughed out loud when I read that. My wife didn’t get it.
It must be a bloke thing, because I didn't get anything humorous from it either, apart from Tim gets his shopping from and delivered by Tesco.

I'm playing Star Trek Feet Command. Far better way to waste my time than thinking about politics. :D

Is there an election? Again?

What with the football, Wimblydon and various other exciting stuff going on, I didn't even notice. Olympics soon too!

When is it?
I'm voting for the Reformation (although I'm sure I remember something vaguely from history lessons that it's already happened).

I suspect you're not looking forward to tomorrow's result and would prefer to hear nothing about it but IMO its the most important day in our country's history since that disasterous day in 2016. At long, long last the tide seems about to turn.

Really looking forward to it. We desperately need a change. No response required.

Best sport on at the moment is the Tour de France. Watching the Manx missile make history aged 39 today. Had me on my feet cheering. :winner: :D

I can't get excited about the TDF - no engines!

Manx missiles were great in May when the Crowe brothers won at the IOM TT races.

I tried the Euros but all the games, especially England’s, were so abysmally boring that I gave up.

I did watch some Catherine Tate and Fast Show re-runs on YouTube last night, good laugh at least

To be honest I do everything I can to avoid the bloody football and tennis.

I can understand why you'd want to avoid the football - it's just miserable by all accounts!

I enjoy the tennis, but F1 was great on Sunday with George Russell getting a win thanks to Max not taking any prisoners when Lando tried to overtake.

I'm with you Iain. I gave up push bikes when I got a motorbike at 16 and have no desire to watch other people in silly Lycra ride them.

I will watch the velodrome cycling at the Olympics, cos that is exciting. It's like sprinting on wheels!
