But just wondering whether autoinvesting is probably better than property investing right now

Porsche Leicester are only having 2 and my boss is having one of those, definitely a good investment![]()

Ed Doe said:Honestly, if I had to have one car for the rest of my driving days... It'd probably be this. The recipe is just perfect imo... (well, no 991 Porsche will be perfect without the hydraulic steering and Mezger engine but I'll save that rant for another time :lol![]()
Beedub said:yup yup yup.... but this is going to be super exclusive, super rare and very cherry picked owners.. basically porsche will be writing the owner a cheque because this will be easily be doubling its RRP.
its perfect, the stripes that hark back to a gone era of the R moniker, the uncluttered body with no wings etc, the brown interior with the old school middle sections, the green dials!! yes!! just like the old cars, the bespoke gearbox, the RS 500hp engine, This for me, is more want than anything currently on sale and buyable.. This is the drivers car that i dream of, fun at the track and amazing on the road, in every arena this car will be just "right".
Beedub said:Ed tbh totally agree....
just build the f***ing things..... this limited number bollox is a joke imo, the cayman again awesome car but it's a friggin cayman build em and sell em!! no limited numbers and stop the car flippers making a small fortune and making these car unobtainable for the mere mortal.... i totally get what your saying i cant help but just dream about this car!

WRT 911 R - looks like a Donald Trump car - they're making exactly what the customer whats to see/hear/buy into. Except in the car world - that's great. I bet its 130K+, if i had the cash.....

If you were really cynical you could see this as Porsche using up their parts bins to up sell their left over manual boxes etc in order to make a lot of money before they retool for new engines/gboxes/chassis
But I'd like to see it as Porsche connecting with their customer base

It's an entirely new manual transmission isn't it?
