£6k! brand new car ! not for me but i wonder what its like ?

If you don't have high expectations, then you possibly won't be disappointed. Probably a basic vehicle which would get you from A to B, depends what you want from a vehicle I guess. I will give it a pass as its not for me though.
 
The base model 5 door Skoda Citigo is £8k on the road. I would pay the extra £2k for the peace of mind..

Buy it for only £7,594.00 (discounted) also a good option

Previous budget cars to hit UK shores have included the Renault Twizy at £6,690 and the Suzuki Alto, priced at £7,195

I would rather spend 6-8k on a second hand quality car.

Bet my last £400 banger was better than that, and it did 55mpg.

... or a few months ago I paid for a new £5,500 OTR for the Peugeot 107 same car as the Aygo, 2nd one I've had. Proper small car,the sort thing the Mini should have morphed in to.
 
I am off to the Dacia dealer first thing tomorrow to see what i can get in part exchange. :P
 
To be fair, I've seen posts repeatedly over the years (on other forums) from people who have said that a basic no-frills car should be available in the UK as modern cars are "too complex".

I'll be interested to see how many of them rush out and buy one. :?
 
Looking for something to replace our Ka, at the moment ,so I actualy bothered to read the spec. :o

Claimed 74mpg & exempt from London Congestion Charge. Not that I care living in Sunny Corwall. :D
 
I read the spec and the basic one is a little light by modern standards, but go up a model and you get enough kit to make it a viable city car, assuming it drives acceptably.
