5W30 Castrol Magnatec OR Castrol Edge better?

What is the difference between Castrol Magnatec 5W30 and Castrol Edge 5W30 engine oil – apart from the cost? Is there a benefit, are we supposed to use Castrol Edge 5W30 in a 2.5l Z4? My mileage is roughly 50k and is 2004 year.

I’m looking at buying a reserve bottle for the car.
 
5W30 is fine - although try and go with what's in there, call the garage that did the oil change last.

Have a look at Opie - Opie Oils
It is worth having a search for a voucher / promo code for them as they often have offers on.

I wouldn't bother with Magnatec.
 
It's got BMW LL04 approval, which exceeds LL01 spec, so shouldn't be a problem with it.

Should be able to get it for about £8/litre.
