Just an observation OP, but if they are all 8J x 18 ET47 you've got 4 front wheels there. :?

OEM MV2s were staggered with 8.5J x 18 ET50 rears.

Yeah that was discussed on another thread; I don’t know this history of how the car ended up with 4x 8j wheels but the +47 offset at least means they are genuine MV2s rather than replicas which tend to be +40. Regardless, they are a decent option for anyone who doesn’t mind a square set up.

Many prefer a square setup and certainly makes life easier, so.. Are there a gaggle of 8.5's running around somewhere?

Just a comment but the inner face doesn’t look like my MV2s. Are you sure they are OEM?. Can’t see any BMW part number either or the manufacturer Rondel. I may be wrong hence why it’s just a comment.
The markings on mine are on the spokes.

I will say this because the OP can't, does it actually matter? They are a beautiful set of wheels totally immaculate and if I was in the market for some I would snatch his hand off for them frankly.

I'll have to plead ignorance here - I don't know what the inside of a genuine OEM MV2 looks like; judging by the set someone else has just posted in the marketplace mine may well not be OEM.

Irregardless, specs above are accurate and they are freshly refurbished, so just like new.

Good sets of genuine mv2 with good rubber tend to go for around £400-£450 on here usually

It's a good question for sure, as many like the idea of original or genuine, I take the stance of condition over name. But many would disagree I'm sure. There is a company that takes the Austin Harley 3000 and brings it completely up-to date, but an original in good condition fetches many times that. Makes no sense but it's human nature I suppose.

They aren't genuine I'm afraid.

All genuine MV2 wheels are stamped '13' near the centre cap.

Road_warrior, it does make a difference, you woudlnt pay the same for a replica rolex as you would for a genuine one now, would you

Bumping this post - wheels are still available if anyone is interested. I've updated the title to reflect these are in fact replica wheels - something I didn't know until posting. Open to reasonable offers.
