how do you ensure you ge the reduction for bmw 4 plus scheme- the one for cars over 4 years old?
How much am I looking for a 2.2 inspection 1 plus new brake pads? (Ill then have to add the cost of a new tyre and aircon regass in on top! :o ) What a month!

just phonedthem- good job i did as it seems they may have convienently forgotten about 4 plus otherwise.

ill let u no what it comes in at mate- gonna be a big one 4 me tho as i need new brakes and a tyre! Ill post the service price for u tho when i get it!

debated it but ill only need pads and cantsee the benifit in upgrading for the bigger discs or for aftermarket pads with a stadard car. hows ur car goin?

Yea I understand what you mean if it was disks aswell then would make more sense :)

I'm loving mine thanx but the credit crunch is slowing my mods! I fancy the 3.0si brakes all round if I can find the bits on eBay. The ///M steering wheel is a great mod that would match your seats & ZHP I've just gotta sort the buttons on mine.

I have a complete set of 3.0i front calipers, rotors and almost new EBC pads lying in the garage following my upgrade? You'd just need carriers from a breakers for a straight swap :)

The MFSW version is £220 and its a 5-10m mod. So easy to do, once you pop the airbag out you just remove the plugs and then then undo the bolt. Once the wheels off just do that in reverse.

Remember to dissconect the battery because you will get an airbag fault if you don't costing £35 to be reset by BMW (I had done yesterday!)

Phil I might take them off your hands in the future if you still have them :D

Always happy to post pics :D

The wheel feels great too nice and chunky!

I love the chunky M wheels - have an E90 3 series M Sport as well and whilst the press seem not to like them, I'm a big fan.

What is hilarious is that the M-sport Wheels are generallly identical to those in the actual M cars except for the colour of the stitching - yet as noted on a previous post, BMW charge something like 3 times as much in the parts catalogue!!!

I was given a non- sport z4 as a courtesy car from my dealer and the thin rim was a huge shock, really didn't like it in comparison to the M wheel.

You are right csmith its about £800 I think for the M coloured stitching. The black stitching feels really nice to touch where your thumbs sit on the wheel :D Its a great upgrade!

cheers- am tempted now- can u get one with silver inserts? I drove a few with this wheel in when looking for mine and did like it.

I don't think so but you might be able to put your old ones onto the new wheel. I'm not 100% sure if they would fit though.

I really prefer the black spokes now comapred to the silver, they look more expensive and better quality IMO. :)
