Thanks for the comments, need to decide what to do with the old set now

Do the same to the old set and sell them on an exchange basis maybe?
The old set are the pics I posted above. I dont think I want to do anything to them as they are a bit too good. Maybe sell them as is.

Thats quality hydro dipping  surely they'll fetch a good price?
It is good and was good enough to have been in a car since it was done about 4 years ago I think. Even took it out of our 23i to put in the 35i.
As with most hydrodipping though its not perfect and has the odd wavy part to the design.

Indeed but a good value for money mod that has lasted well .. out of interest how easy is it to remove the rollover covers, might look into getting mine dipped.. I know they were notoriously a pain in the ass on the e85

They basically just pull off. There are 8 ball type mouldings that hold them in place. Quite sore on the fingers trying to take them off in the cold weather. If I remember I will take a pic of the inside of them showing what holds them on.

I used a trim removal tool, bottom inside first then bottom outside, once bottom ones off both sides you can work them off moving upwards

Nictrix, would be interested in the centre console if you choose to sell.
Really impressed with that job, well done.

Looks the mutts nuts - I would be doing the same and selling the second set on as I am sure there would be plenty of takers

I suggested that in an earlier post but after giving it some thought the cash reward to hours spent might not be a good ratio!
