Cheers, I'll leave it then, I'm pretty much same mileage.

I would definitely do a shifter rebuild while you have easy access to that assembly. From experience, don't bother going with anything other than OE bushes even if the price of the oval bushes are hard to swallow. Not even the fairly expensive Powerflex bushes I got fitted correctly.

Did you complain to Powerflex? I have a set to install when the weather warms up!

Through the seller, yes. Seller said he would contact PowerFlex. I made the linked video for the seller to send to PowerFlex. He refunded me, so I didn't chase him.

All done and back on the car. Cheers Lucas for recommending the shifter rebuild, them oval bushes though  Even the BMW dealer couldn't believe how much they cost.

Anyway, for future reference, can certainly recommend Dave Heasman (Heasman Differentials) to do any diff rebuilding work including 4.1 conversions. Knows his stuff and a quick turnaround at a good price.
Another Z4M part no longer available is the rear diff cover (the part with the 2 bushes) so used an M3 diff cover slightly modified to fit which is still available. Worth noting, seems a few parts now starting to be NLA for our cars now.....

As for the 4.1 conversion, feels good so far, I've only driven a few miles on it but can feel the difference in pull. If you can get the gearset for a good price and your diff might need a rebuild anyway (100k+ miles) then strongly consider it
