3rd brake light springs

So I've ordered a new brake light as of course it's broken.
As far as I'm aware, there are new springs now that help to reduce the chance of breaking, however the light doesn't come with them.

Does anyone have the part numbers for me or an ebay listing perhaps?

Thanks!

Check out my 2nd post in this thread for the part numbers you need

I think others have also cut the original spring down - not sure by how much though
A quick search may reveal and save you a bit of cash

Interesting, I've never heard of that one. To be honest i wouldn't, the springs are only circa £6 for the three, not worth taking the risk i think. The new ones aren't that much shorter than the originals, its more to do with the springs strength. The new ones are rated at only 40N where as the old ones are rated at 82N, so less than half the originals.
Here's some pics I took comparing my old ones with the new ones (part number listed in earlier post) you can see they're different.

its not that clear in the pics, but the spring wire is slightly thinner on the new springs. what is clear is there are less coils etc.
