3M Perfect It Triple Polish

My car had a small paint issue when I picked it up, a strange contaminant of some kind all over the car, but worse on the roof and bonnet.

It had been ceramic coated some years back, so maybe the remains of that, but not sure. Tried covering the car with Autoglym Magma, then went over it with a clay bar, but it made no difference.

So, onto polishing to try and remove. I used to use Farecla, but as the bottles I had were all quite old I decided to replace the lot with the 3M Perfect It Triple polish/compound, along with new pads etc.

Turned out to be a good move, very happy with how it turned out, also found it easy to use with the Makita rotary. Finished off with a coat of my favourite wax, R222. Difficult to get good photos in the garage, but you get the idea.

As you can see, next job is to tidy up the garage :)

Thnaks for the comments

Meant to say, got great service from Elite Car Care, I forgot part of the 3M package and had to reorder. Same day dispatch both times.

Also, these are the best microfibre cloths I've used to date, makes the job much easier.
