35is Prices Holding Well.

Here is the extract from the April 2010 UK price list..it got complicated because they offered the 35 in an MSport variant

Love the fact that to get an auto dimming rear view mirror you had to get a 30i

I didn’t realise the 35is had a heated steering wheel as standard? Thought they were an expensive rarity on any e89 :?
Rob

They are not standard on the 35is.
Mine has a heated steering wheel. I said that just for smug value. :D I will probably never use it.

Here’s a link to the 2014 price list and options

I don't think the heated steering wheel was very expensive - I think it was only £85
money well spent on the rare occasion its used

Scrub that last post !!!!

Ive just found the April 2016 brochure and price List.

Steering Wheel Heating - option 248 optional extra available on all models £155

Probably +Vat as well - so maybe not the bargain I thought - but once you are spending £46k or more its so raise to say what the heck why not!

Definitely cheaper to buy some gloves

A couple of years ago I saw something on the forum that showed there were only 400 35is models in the UK. Didn't break that figure down by colour but would suspect a few less in the country now. Could be the reason why the prices are stabilising or even increasing.

340 brake coupled with a bulletproof bottom end and DCT out the box makes them a tasty used buy if pin sharp steering and handling isn’t your main criteria. A few choice mods goes a fair way to making these a very very good car. Maybe double the spend for the equivalent G29 M40i has made folk wake up to what these cars can deliver...? Heated steering wheel is nice to have but they seem to go quite tepid after an hour or so, gloves are better imho as they keep your knuckles warm too. That rear quarter glass on E89’s makes a huge difference too compared with an E85 coupled with the knee vent, so much warmer in the cabin. Cracking cars, bloody thirsty mind...!

Is this the site ?

Not sure if I am reading that site correctly or not but it looks like there are less than 100 manual 35i msport models.

I noticed that too, you’re in a MUCH more exclusive club than me

Not sure if I am reading it right either. Is the number taxed in Q3 the total or just the ones taxed in that quarter? It will mean either 414 in total or circa 1200 in total? Not sure which

There’s a tab up the top that says new registrations which give you the numbers per year. So your figure of just over 400 is the correct one by the looks of it

I wonder if the new 2019 registration was an import or one found in a dealers storage lot??

How many left is notoriously inaccurate, so don't pay any attention to the figures.

It depends on the exact way the vehicle model/description was added at first registration. Therefore (for example) a BMWZ4 is not included in a search for BMW Z4.

It's hopeless.
