35i test on Rockingham circuit

Oh.

I thought one of you had finally got your arses to a track day then.

Looks really smooth with the DCT, im sure that would produce very good lap times, even if its a bit more boring along the way :poke:

Boring ??? You still have to shift with either a paddle or the stick so :? , you just don't get leg strain from working the clutch

and just as fast as an M. Don't be surprised if the iS is considered the M version, the 35i was until the iS came along.

The non-LSD cars were struggling quite a bit during the Lakes run as some of the roads were rather sharp bend and very, very steep. Would not want to be without one now.

M is about more than just speed, it's about involvement and thrills!

Well, it used to be, not so sure as much with the newer stuff as much as it used to be, but it is still a step up from the normal models.

As per LSD, I'd like one for my car. Not having one can often un-settle it on slippier surfaces even with the ESP active, where with an LSD it'd just run solid over most surfaces and not even need ESP as much to start with :)

The video looks a bit un-dramatic, and the auto-gain control on the clips audio is annoying! Bit odd to do a test of a road car on a super smooth race track. They should send stuff around Millbrook!

what is LSD as it pertains to a Zed?

Limited-Slip Differential.

Aaah ! You mean "posi" .

Folks, I work for the largest Oil company in the world, also the biggest user of Acronyms in the world (IMO) and it drives me crazy

Limited slip diffs are called......... "Limited slip diffs" ........over here .
An interesting concept that seems to work .... :poke: :poke: :poke:

Me nether. The new Z4 isn't really a track car. I do agree the track is M territory really!

Also after doing track days on motorbikes, road cars are just boring going round and round a track! :P
