Any chance you could post the link for the injectors as I'm considering getting some for mine. Also going to ask my Indy to price me some up too.

This was the link..

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Fuel-Injector-Index-12-N54-N63-135-335-535-550-750-X5-X6-M-13538616079-SET-6-/153674093502

However..I used those guys..but ended up paying another £240 in import duty etc so it’s not £1,200 ish it’s more like £1,500,,,

On that basis maybe others maybe cheaper?

Gone up a wee bit and shipping is higher thanks to the brexit stupidity.
Talk to the seller before shipping to avoid any possible import taxes, they can label the package as 'used car spares'.
Also since brexit we now have the new 'online integrated tariff' - not sure if this replaces previous import duty.
Again contact the seller for the 'commodity code' and you can check the import rate at https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/

Seller is here
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153674093502?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D532750c79da24b399b3365babf2c9428%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D133918708341%26itm%3D153674093502%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DBMW&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A83307718-3e06-11ec-8fba-56998f61bc49%7Cparentrq%3Aeee90d9917c0a69c39db8211fffb4736%7Ciid%3A1

FWIW, the breakdown of costs showed no duty paid but the shippers costs and the base cost all had VAT added then Fedex slapped their handling charges..

Not sure if there is a UK / European seller with UK vat integration that can offer nett nett a cheaper price..

Brexit really messed with shipping from the USA
Its because of the wreckage it caused on the value of GBP - since brexit vote GBP has been undervalued, as a result shipping from virtually anywhere abroad is now comparitively more expensive than pre berxit vote.
Even our current massive fuel prices are related although other things have also contributed.

You can cheery-pick currency pairings from any time in the last 10years and find points to fit almost any narrative. Sterling is no worse against the euro or USD than it was before the referendum. Sterling and the euro were almost at parity when I went to Barcelona in 2008.
Things are getting more expensive because of inflation. Land, houses and used cars all look like they are going up in value but the sad truth is that our savings are just getting ravaged by the government printing money.

Car parts are the same. I keep an eye on big ticket items and they've all been getting more pricey even since brexit has been finished with.

I've had a price from my Indy garage today on some index 12 injectors and they come out at £219.17 plus vat each. Not what I wanted to hear.
These are ordered via the main dealer using their trade club and are the discounted price and are apparently ( ordered to chassis to dealers buying them for stock) what ever that means, these are there words, not mine :?

Looks like they are the ‘special’ warranty versions …

Ie they are destined for warranty claims and need to be logged to a specific car..

As discussed although the part number is different it’s the identical injector just a special price for warranty purposes..

Around 360 euros plus vat seems the official bmw list price for a non warranty version..
