35i Manual for sale

Will be interesting to see what it goes for. The rarest of combos drive wise with the N54 and manual transmission but doesn’t look the nicest option wise etc

What options do you think it needs? It's got iDrive, auto wiper/lights, memory seats. Can't see if it's got either of the amplified audio systems as it doesn't have enough photos to show that. It's got Bluetooth , but wont be music streaming as its too early.
So it's not bad on the options list.
Oh, and it's got Style 292 LA Turbine wheels, whi I think are fairly rare.

Dont think it has parking sensors? I would like the full leather instead of what's there. But could be a lot of car for the price

Car's like this; an old, 100,000 mile plus E89 with an N54 engine could be getting toward Aston Martin territory, where they are cheap to buy because they are very expensive to keep?

There is no such thing as a bargain car anymore.

Fairly predictable costs on these though, if the seller is willing/able to give a few more details, it's just a question of what has been replaced already. I'd be surprised if an early one had got to 100k miles without HPFP, injectors, water pump being done - and if it has then maybe these engines aren't quite as unreliable as the internet would have you believe...

A 35i on this sort of mileage with most of the big things already done would be cheap (in the context of the performance) reliable motoring for a long time.

For what it's worth, I messaged the seller of this one to ask if any of that had ever been replaced, and he said "it's been looked after by BMW so anything that needs doing has been done." Budget £5k for maintenance :ROFLMAO:

Well it has just ended at £5,900.

That does seem cheap although I'd really want M-Sport seats, especially in a 35i.

I am still learning about these cars, but that appears to be a lot of car for the money - if it is as described. 🤔
Good luck to the buyer, I hope it is all good, and maybe they will say hello here.
Agree on it really needing sports seats too.

Lot of car for the brave..with service light on!

Was offered one locally for £3,500 similar condition with OFHG leak and intermittent roof fault..he sold it to WBAC for £2,500..

Without re looking needs more M stuff to start which is a biggie, bodykit, m sport seats, cruise, darker seats and carbon dash pack.

Love the way the seller is obviously trade and knows nothing just wants to sound like he does…
‘lovely linear power delivery’ unless your turbos are knackered its far from linear…the whole point of getting the N54 is for its actual limits to be just slightly beyond what you expect…

That's the 3rd time it's sold and it keeps getting cheaper - suspect all is not as it would seem!Screenshot_20251013_070045_eBay.jpg

With these sorts of cars, good ones sell well for decent money. Dogs don't. Many people don't want to faff about fixing things right from the off and many people don't want a car that is often a 'toy'/pleasure car if it doesn't look good.
I got £13.5K for mine 6 weeks ago.
